Serious personal injury and/or the wrongful death of a loved one
are tragedies attended by a level of suffering and a sense of loss
no one should have to bear. And when an airplane crash is involved

miles away from their families. The Washington
personal injury attorneys of Krutch Lindell have the compassion
and understanding to remain sensitive to human feelings while
providing support, guidance and legal representation of the highest
order.
More than half of the cases handled by Krutch Lindell involve
the victims of
aviation accidents, but they also have impressive credentials

"Our firm is one of a few well established practitioners in
the field of aviation law, having represented victims of aviation
accidents for over forty years. Our attorneys deal directly with
our clients, not through paralegals and assistants. We provide
caring, compassionate, personal attention to our clients, many of
whom have suffered through great personal tragedy."
-Krutch Lindell
The Seattle aviation accident lawyers of Krutch Lindell have
handled many significant and high profile cases and consistently
strive to fight injustice, expand the rights of aviation accident
victims and other personal injury clients. In one case involving
Japan Airlines, Krutch Lindell lawyers brought about a change in
the law. By their efforts in that case, representing the estate of
a victim killed in an aviation disaster, they established "fear of
impending doom" as a separate element of damages to be awarded by
the Court. And in 1994, Krutch Lindell successfully negotiated what
is thought to be one of the largest settlements in the country
against a government contractor on behalf of a military pilot.

- The Firm represented the bereaved families of several
passengers who lost their lives on Alaska Airlines Flight 261 when
it crashed off the California coast. The disaster involved a
McDonald Douglas MD-83 aircraft on which the jackscrew operating
the horizontal stabilizer failed. Krutch Lindell filed cases in
California and in Washington against Boeing Commercial Aircraft
Company and Alaska Airlines, along with a number of other

- In the case of Genther, et al. v. Holland America Lines,
Turismo Aviomar, and Aero Ferinc, Krutch Lindell represented
the families of 8 passengers who perished near Chichen Itza in

flown by a Mexican airline. They were on a "flightseeing" shore

crash occurred. The litigation involved the filing of lawsuits in
the State of Washington and also in Florida, but Krutch Lindell
attorneys were able to obtain substantial pre-trial confidential
settlements for each of the Firm's clients.
- When an El Al cargo plane lost an engine and crashed into an
apartment building in the Netherlands City of Amsterdam, killing
and injuring a number of people, Krutch Lindell, in association
with several Dutch law firms, represented several injured victims
and the surviving family members of a number of those killed in the
crash.
