(In re: Nakash), representation of several defendants in the adversary proceedings brought in the case of In re: Crazy Eddie; representation of the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the case of In re: Herald Center; and representation of certain creditors in the cases of In re: El Paso Electric Company; In re Braniff, Inc.; representation of a landlord in the case of In re: McCrory Corp., in which Mr. Tabachnik defeated the Debtor's efforts to assume his client's lease; and representation of the group owning the land lease involved with the Beverly Hills Barney's store in the case of In re: Barney's Inc. Mr. Volpe subsequently pled guilty and was sentenced to a term of incarceration in connection with several counts of mail fraud regarding matters involved in the litigation.
