What are the rules on final paychecks in Idaho?

Generally, under Idaho Code §§ 45-606, an employer must issue a final paycheck to an employee within ten (10) days, or on the next regularly scheduled pay date, whichever is earlier, if the employee is being fired or laid off. However, an employer must issue a final paycheck to an employee who requests earlier payment in writing, within forty-eight (48) hours of the receipt of the request, excluding weekends and holidays.
