After a judicial clerkship and practicing law for over a decade, Ally transitioned to an alternative legal career in writing, editing, and developing online legal content. Andrew Leonatti has been writing on the law for nearly a decade. Prior to that, Andrew spent the first half of his career as a Capitol Hill reporter and copy editor in Washington, D.C., covering such topics as the Affordable Care Act and Dodd-Frank financial system reform. Andrew holds degrees from Saint Louis University and the University of Illinois and is an avid traveler, home chef, and Pearl Jam obsessive.
Kellie Pantekoek is a former family law attorney who has been writing legal blog posts and articles for more than a decade. Joe Fawbush is an attorney and senior writer with LawInfo. He has written about the law for various online platforms for over a decade. He has also helped hundreds of law firms across the country market themselves and make legal information more accessible for consumers. Joe is a co-host and producer on the “FindLaw’s Don’t Judge Me” podcast. When he isn’t writing or podcasting, Joe’s with his three children. Although somehow he still finds time to play fantasy football and make a mess doing home improvement projects of questionable workmanship.
Laura is a legal writer for LawInfo. She is an attorney, licensed in Minnesota. Her career prior to law school focused mainly on writing for online audiences, including for local radio and local government.
Jaclyn Rainey writes for LawInfo’s legal topic articles. She joined the team in 2019 after achieving a B.A. in journalism and writing content for more than 10 years. Her past writing experience includes healthy living and eco-cleaning brands, consumer products, and companies in the non-profit sector.
Richard Dahl has worked in legal communications. He started out as a journalist working for state and national legal publications in Boston before venturing out on his own. As a freelancer, he continued to write for legal publications but also began working for a variety of law schools, law firms, and legal organizations. A native of Minnesota, Richard joined LawInfo in July 2019, shortly after returning to his home state. In his spare time, Richard is most passionate about keeping up with non-mainstream contemporary music.
Sydney Goldstein writes articles on legal topics and state laws for LawInfo. Sydney is presently pursuing her J.D. at the University of Massachusetts School of Law, where she received a Public Interest Law Fellowship. Prior to joining LawInfo, she studied political science as well as philosophy. Sydney aspires to be licensed in Massachusetts and to continue her legal writing career.
Samantha-Rae Tuthill, legal writer for LawInfo.com, has more than a decade of professional experience in journalism and content marketing. Her work has been published by outlets such as AccuWeather, Scientific American, and The Atlantic. Sam graduated from High Point University with B.A.’s in writing and philosophy. She’s currently a second-year law student at the University of Massachusetts School of Law.
