Right To Vote Law

What are the requirements to be eligible to vote in New Jersey state and local elections?

In order to vote under New Jersey law, you must be a U.S. citizen, at least eighteen (18) years of age, and a resident of the county for at least thirty (30) days prior to the election in which you want to vote. You cannot vote in the state of New Jersey if you are serving a sentence of incarceration, or are on probation or parole, due to the conviction of an indictable offense under state or federal law.
