When do I need to update my voter registration in the state of Arkansas?

If you move within the same precinct in your county, or to a different precinct within your county, you need only complete a change of address form. If you move to a new Arkansas county, you must cancel your voter registration through the county clerk’s office in your old county, and reregister to vote by completing a new application form through your new county clerk’s office. You must go through this voter registration transfer process at least four (4) days prior to the election, or you will not be eligible to vote. If you change your name, you must simply complete the name change portion of the voter registration application, and submit it to your county clerk’s office.
