In California, some manufactureres voluntarily seek certification of their arbitration programs from the Department of Consumer Affairs Arbitration Review Program.
These statecertified arbitration programs hear and render decisions about consumers warranty problems with their vehicles. The Arbitration Review Program monitors these programs for compliance with state and federal laws and investigates consumer complaints about their operations. The Arbitration Review program does not review programs decisions
