Attorney Brian Mincher
Brian is a partner with Burress Injury Law. Over the past 25+ years, he has tried over 150 jury trials in state and federal courts. Having previously represented insurance companies before dedicating his practice to helping victims over a decade ago, Brian has incredible insight on how insurance companies operate and how to force them to pay more money on injury and wrongful death claims.
When asked why he became a lawyer, he notes Atticus Finch, the attorney in To Kill a Mockingbird, as his inspiration. That idea of fighting for those who are not able to fight for themselves has always been important to Brian. As a young man he spent a good deal of time fighting in the ring and on the mats. Now, he spends all his professional time fighting for the rights of his fellow citizens who have been needlessly harmed thru the negligence, and sometimes even malice, of others.
In his spare time, Brian enjoys physical fitness and the outdoors in all forms – from boating and hiking to hunting and fishing. He has been a competitive marksman in several different disciplines since childhood. His is a state record holder in Oklahoma in equipped bench pressing, and holds the current Texas, U.S. and world record in bench press for men his age and weight. During college, he was a 3-time Oklahoma Karate Association divisional champion. He is an avid guitar player and performs regularly on the local music scene. Brian is married and has 3 wonderful children.
Education:
- University of Oklahoma College of Law, Norman, Oklahoma
- J.D. - 1998

Attorney Josh Flippin
Josh is an associate attorney with Burress Law. He spent the first 7 years of his practice on the defense side, working with some of the largest insurance carriers in both the U.S. and out of the Lloyd’s Market in London. That experience gave him incredible insight into how personal injury cases are litigated, tried and valued from a defense perspective, which allows him to be a better advocate and attorney for plaintiffs facing what can be one of the most difficult times in their lives.
Josh made the decision to switch to the plaintiff’s side because he wanted to find more of the personal service side of this practice that was sometimes lacking on the defense side. Josh became a lawyer because he wanted to help people as much as he could. Now having the ability to personally connect with his clients and fight on their behalf, his practice has never been more rewarding.
Josh is a native Texan, growing up in East Texas before moving to the DFW area. He obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of North Texas and law degree from the SMU Dedman School of Law. While attending law school, Josh clerked for the Texas Fourth Court of Appeals, the Collin County District Attorney, as well as a local civil litigation firm. He has extensive experience in the areas of personal injury, premises liability, wrongful death and product liability (product defects). Josh has been with the firm since 2021.
