Biography

Attorney John Tyler Montgomery was born in Fort Worth and grew up in Mineral Wells and Abilene. His family moved to Abilene in 1999 when his father accepted the position as Superintendent of Diamondback Golf Club. He attended and graduated from Wylie High School. After high school, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law. After law school graduation, he moved back home to practice law.​

Mr. Montgomery is an attorney who represents individuals, families, and small businesses across the Big Country and West Texas. He strives to provide the best quality of service to all his clients, giving equal importance to each and every case. He tries his best to handle your case courteously and efficiently as possible.

Mr. Montgomery is member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and Abilene Bar Association.

John lives in Abilene with his wife Kaitlin and their son and daughter. Kaitlin graduated from Pampa High School and is a graduate of Abilene Christian University.
