Attorney B. Steven Messick

Steven is a top-rated attorney serving clients across the State of Minnesota for more than ten years. He is an experienced litigator, counselor, and mediator, who finds practical solutions for difficult problems faced by his clients. Along with assisting in her judicial duties, Matt worked with Judge Wahi on local and statewide organizations working to eliminate bias from court operations, promote equal access to the court, and inspire public trust and confidence in the Minnesota Judicial Branch.

Prior to joining Messick Law, she worked for a well-respected litigation firm in Minneapolis and externed for Target's corporate legal department. Sandy is a former Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Jonathan N. Jasper in the Tenth Judicial District. In law school, she served as a Managing Editor for Mitchell Hamline Law Review and volunteered through the Minnesota Justice Foundation. Sandy previously worked as a paralegal for a general practice law firm.

Prior to joining Messick Law, she represented trustees and debtors-in-possession in the litigation of avoidance actions and other bankruptcy and insolvency matters.
