In a divorce case in 2011, Scott Goldman was hired as the 4th lawyer in his client’s case. The client was not happy with her former attorneys because they would not take the time to listen to her qualms with the valuation of the marital business. Scott took an unassuming attitude towards her case and in trial proved that the business was worth about one million dollars more than what the opposing party was saying it was worth and netted the client an additional $400,000 than she would have originally received had she settled.
In a recent DUI case, Scott has been successful in saving his client’s driver’s license through recognizing the importance of re-testing a blood sample. The State said that the client’s blood was tested at a .083, which is over the DUI minimum limit –after advising the client to engage Scott’s expert to re-test the blood sample, the client’s blood sample came back at .078 and thus, he was able to keep his driver’s license.
In a recent felony criminal case, Scott saved a client from receiving 5 years in prison and 5 years parole and successfully argued for probation sentence.
