Attorney Jacob D. Flesher
Mr. Flesher began trying cases before he passed the California bar exam. He prosecuted criminal cases as a Deputy District Attorney in Ventura, California. In 2001, he joined his mentor and began litigating civil cases, which he has done ever since.
Mr. Flesher has tried cases to verdict in federal and state courts in California and Nevada, ultimately focusing on high-exposure cases and matters of first impression for large national and international companies. He has also been sought out by media for his comment on legal matters.
Attorney Jason W. Schaff
Mr. Schaff is a firm shareholder who represents businesses, employers and injured individuals in all aspects of civil litigation. He has tried high-exposure matters to verdict in both state and federal courts throughout California. He has handled employment matters, professional liability claims, officers and director disputes, and catastrophic personal injury cases. Mr. Schaff brings a unique background to the Firm as a prior claims adjuster with a large insurance company.
Mr. Schaff is admitted to practice law in California and all federal district courts in California. He was named a Rising Star in the Northern California Super Lawyers from 2009 to 2017. Since 2018 he has been recognized as a Northern California Super Lawyer. In 2021, Sacramento Magazine named Mr. Schaff as a Top Lawyer in Sacramento. Mr. Schaff is also a Member of the Sacramento Valley Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Attorney Jeremy J. Schroeder
Mr. Schroeder, a firm shareholder, brings his broad experience to bear for the clients of Flesher Schaff & Schroeder in areas including business disputes, personal injury defense and prosecution, public entity defense and railroad transportation litigation.
During his legal career, Mr. Schroeder has gained experience in varied areas of litigation, and among diverse industries, including automobile liability, wrongful death, collection actions, law enforcement defense, mechanic's lien law, personal injury, ADA defense, government tort liability, public employee defense, railroad FELA and asbestos defense, plaintiff's personal injury and many other areas of litigation practice. Additionally, he has experience in workers' compensation defense and subrogation recovery for employers. Mr. Schroeder has enjoyed a truly diverse practice in civil litigation and trial practice.
Attorney Wendy A. Green
Ms. Green joined Flesher Schaff & Schroeder as a senior attorney in February of 2018. She brings a broad range of complex litigation experience to the firm, having defended professionals, business owners, real estate developers, construction companies and contractors, insurers, and employers in tort and contract actions for more than twenty years. She has been named a Top Lawyer by Sacramento Magazine in the area of legal malpractice. Ms. Green also handles civil appeals and was counsel of record in the published decision titled The Swahn Group, Inc., et al. v. Segal, et al. (2010) 183 Cal.App.4th 831.
She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of California at Irvine. After working as a complex litigation paralegal for several years, Ms. Green attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, from which she earned her Juris Doctor, with Distinction. Immediately after law school, Ms. Green moved to Phoenix, Arizona to clerk for the Hon. Jefferson L. Lankford (Ret.) at Division I of the Arizona Court of Appeals.
Attorney Nicole M. Low
Mrs. Low is an associate attorney at Flesher Schaff & Schroeder. She has quickly established herself as a top lawyer in Sacramento, as recognized in 2021 by Sacramento Magazine.
Originally from the Central Valley, Nicole moved to Los Angeles to complete her undergraduate degree at California State University, Northridge. Nicole then attended the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where she excelled in trial advocacy. Nicole was selected as a member of McGeorge’s nationally ranked Trial Advocacy Team, where she competed across the country with other top-tier law schools. At graduation, she was one of ten students inducted into The Order of Barristers in recognition of her outstanding trial advocacy skills and was admitted to the Traynor Honors Society.
Attorney Jefferson G. Meyer
Mr. Meyer was named of counsel to Schroeder Schaff & Low in 2018. He is a transactional attorney with over 25 years of experience. He assists our clients in matters concerning business planning, business formation, corporate governance, shareholder agreements, asset/stock sales/purchases, and commercial transactions. He also provides advice and counsel to businesses of all sizes with regard to compliance with California’s numerous regulatory requirements.
Additionally, Mr. Meyer has represented and continues to represent numerous professional athletes and celebrities with regard to talent agreements and endorsement agreements with companies such as ESPN, Viacom, Fox, ABC, UFC and Pepsi-Cola.
Mr. Meyer’s experience in corporate law and transactions is brought to bear for our firm’s business litigation clients. Recently, he supported our firm’s litigation team during a Federal lawsuit involving corporate transactions spanning two decades and involving the corporate law of multiple states. The result was a complete victory for our client on summary judgement.
