If you have sustained an injury while working on the job, you may consider speaking with a workers compensation attorney in order to make sure you get the benefits and compensation you deserve. Before meeting with your attorney, organize your answers to the following questions. First, your attorney will want to know the extent of your injuries. If you have sought medical attention, bring along a copy of your medical file. Next, your attorney will want to know whether you had a pre-existing medical condition. If so, bring along any medical files related to that condition. Next, your attorney will ask whether you have already filed a workers compensation claim.
