Account of profits is a legal remedy that is typically used in cases where the fiduciary duty has been breached. In this action the plaintiff attempts to recover profits as a result of the defendant’s breach of their duty. The purpose of this remedy is to force the defendant to surrender the profits made from their wrongful breach.
