DePuy Hip Replacement

If you’ve had a hip replacement, it’s important you know both the manufacturer and model of the system that was installed. If you received a hip replacement manufactured by DePuy, you may be at risk. In August 2010, DePuy announced a voluntary recall of the ASR XL Acetabular system and the DePuy ASR Hip Resurfacing System. These systems suffered a design flaw that lead to high failure rates. If so, a blood test can be administered to determine whether your implant is failing.
