Accutane was distributed by Roche Pharmaceuticals and prescribed to treat moderate to severe acne. This drug was widely popular for many years, and many people used the medication knowing it was accompanied by serious risks. However, one of the risks not disclosed by the distributor was the possibility of developing an inflammatory bowel disease such as Crohn’s Disease.
