Attorney Timothy B. Melms
Tim received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is law degree from Marquette University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in the State of Wisconsin, including the Seventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. Tim is an active member of the Oneida-Vilas-Forest County Bar Association and the Minocqua Lions Club. In addition, Tim serves as a Court Commissioner for Oneida County and is the Chairman of the Oneida County Civil Service Commission. He also serves as the chairman of the Marshfield Medical Center Minocqua Community Advisory Board.
Tim’s specialty areas of legal practice include real estate, business law, personal injury, probate, and family law.
Attorney Maggie Hogan
Maggie Hogan graduated from Boston College with a Degree in Marketing and Finance in 2005. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2008 and worked at the Wisconsin State Public Defender’s Office for eight years, where she was the 2014 Rubin Society Award Recipient. Maggie has extensive criminal law trial and motion experience, having handled sexual assault and homicide cases, as well as OWIs, drug cases, and a wide variety of other criminal cases. In addition, Maggie frequently performs guardian ad litem work, along with a variety of family court matters, including divorce and placement issues. Maggie is a former Oneida-Vilas-Forest County Bar Association President. She also currently serves as the Vice President of the Oneida County Humane Society.
Attorney Alexandra Francois
Alexandra “Ali” Francois is a graduate of Boston College and the University of Wisconsin Law School. While at UW Law, she served as a Note & Comment Editor of the Wisconsin Law Review. Upon graduation from UW Law, she was elected into the Order of the Coif and received the James J. and Dorothy T. Hanks Memorial Award for excellence in the study of corporate law and the Dean’s Academic Achievement Award. Prior to relocating back to Wisconsin, Ali worked as a corporate associate in New York, NY, where she worked on leveraged finance transactions. She is admitted to practice in the State of Wisconsin and the State of New York. At Hogan & Melms, her practice primarily focuses on civil/business litigation, business organization, real estate, and family matters.
She is a current board member of the Lakeland Union High School District Foundation and the acting Vice President of the Oneida-Vilas-Forest County Bar Association. She has also worked as the head coach of the Rhinelander High School Mock Trial Team.
