Exceptional Criminal Defense
Most criminal defense attorneys will tell you they’re aggressive. We all need to be. At Van Severen, Law Office S.C. we don’t use generic and outdated terms to describe our attorneys. We believe that our precise, intelligent focus allows us to provide criminal defense representation at a level beyond simply “aggressive.”
Our attorneys are dedicated to criminal defense. We don’t handle divorces, business representation, small claims, or any other kind of non-criminal case. If you need a lawyer to review that contract, we’re not the firm that’s going to help you. Our 100% focus on criminal defense allows us to dedicate all of our firm’s resources to defending the criminally accused. We don’t follow the developments in divorce law because that’s not what’s going to keep you out of jail. It’s not what will prevent you from being convicted of that felony. You’re looking for the best criminal defense attorney – the other things simply don’t matter. We believe that this precise focus allows us to deliver better, more positive results for clients.

Chanel H. – Milwaukee, WI (November 2019)Attorney Matt Last, has been awesome. He got hired a day before my step father was suppose to be in court. He didn’t hesitate to show up the next day and postponed the court date, until he got him self Acquainted with my step dads case. He has always returned my calls and answered every question to the best of his ability. My step dads case is not easy but in Matt Last, I am confident we will get the best and fair results. Couldn’t ask for more
Jonathan C. – Milwaukee, WI (December 2019)I was recently represented by Attorney Matthew Last. I had a wonderful experience with him in the handling of my case. It was stressful enough to be in the situation it was in and the last thing I wanted was to handle it alone. Attorney Last assured me he would get it resolved and he did just that. He was professional, prompt, and got me the results I was looking for in my case. I would highly recommend him in the future. Thank you!
Jordan T. – Milwaukee, WI (December 2019)This place has the best lawyer's anyone can ask for. They focus on you and your case and are very adamant and passionate about there work.
I'd highly recommend them
Matthew is a bold strategist that tackles issues head on with the goals of his clients being his utmost priority. I contacted Matthew as soon as I knew I had a hearing (a day prior!) He immediately reached out to me and gave me a consultation. Speaking to Matthew gave me the confidence I needed to hire him to keep my innocence. He immediately took note of my side of the story in full context and told me of what to prepare for in the charging court. Matthew's wit and knowledge was important in getting my case completely dismissed before I was even charged!
