Attorney Marc Brandon Ayers
As a member of the Virginia State Bar, Brandon's experience in the area courts of central and Southwest Virginia provides his noted ability to deliver outstanding results for his clients. He believes that, regardless of perceived guilt, everyone deserves the best possible defense. Brandon knows that his client's life and liberty depends upon making the prosecution actually meet their burden of proving guilt. Brandon considers holding the opposing side to that standard is a privilege that should be exercised to ensure that good people aren’t punished without cause.
As a native of Galax, in southwestern Virginia, Brandon's path to opening his private practice in Salem, Virginia included a number of stops along the way. Brandon graduated High School as the record-setting recipient of eight state championships in academic competition a record that remains unbroken to this day. As one of two son's raised by a single mother, Brandon was able to attend Emory & Henry College on scholarship, graduating with his B.A. before enrolling in Law School at Liberty University School of Law. After earning his J.D. and being admitted to the State Bar, Attorney Ayers served as Of Counsel for the Waterlick East Corporation in Lynchburg, Virginia for over a year before founding Ayers Law.
Ayers has had the privilege of teaching collegiate Undergraduate and Master's level courses at the Helms School of Government, and in 2018, Brandon was selected as one of twelve AIEF Delegates to serve as Ambassadors of the United States to Israel, meeting with Palestinian and Israeli top government officials in exploration of continued defense aid, and peace solutions in the Middle East.
Among his many assets, it is his engaging personality, coupled with his unique ability to relate to Judges, Juries, and Clients on a practical, and straight-forward manner that he owes his greatest successes. Being raised in a small, cotton-factory town, the foundation was laid for his convictions that, "no one person is better than the other," and that exercising the "golden-rule" isn't something that ends when Sunday school is over.
Outside of the office, Brandon spends a lot of his time outdoors. An avid kayaking enthusiast, there is no place more relaxing than exploring the river, camping on its banks, and taking in the distinctive beauty that can only be found in Virginia. An avid musician, Brandon has recorded and produced five albums to date ranging from orchestral compositions, to Rockabilly-Folk styled original songs. Ayers enjoys taking to the skies, weather permitting, for a joy-flight over the mountains, reading, writing, and keeping the "creative" side of his mind well exercised.
