Attorney William Ward
Bill is a partner at Ward & Myers LLP. Bill was born in El Paso, Texas and began practicing law in 1979 with the firm of Kerr, Fitz-Gerald & Kerr. He was a founding member and formerly practiced with Morgan, Ward & Leeton, LLP (1984-1995) and Kerr & Ward, LLP (1995-2010). Bill and Charles formed Ward & Myers LLP in September of 2010.
Bill has focused primarily in the areas of Family Law, Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, Probate and Business Litigation and practices in numerous counties of West Texas. He maintains an AV Preeminent Rating with the Martindale Hubbell publications. Bill graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.B.A. in Accounting and Texas Tech University School of Law.
Attorney Charles Myers
Charles is a partner at Ward & Myers LLP. Charles was born in Big Spring and began his legal career there with Mouton, Mouton & Myers, P.C.; where he practiced civil trial work. In Howard County, Charles was the youngest president of the Howard County Bar Association. Upon moving to Midland, Charles joined the firm of Kerr & Ward as a partner. Charles and Bill Ward left that firm to create Ward & Myers LLP in 2010.
Charles is board certified in the area of family law, including child custody, divorce, modifications, support, and adoption. He has tried numerous cases in front of both judges and juries throughout West Texas. He currently works in Midland, Ector and surrounding counties, including Howard, Andrews, Dawson, Upton, Crane, Reeves, Winkler, Gaines, Terry and Glasscock.
Charles is a member of the Midland County Bar Association and has been elected as a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, a group that comprises less than 1% of all lawyers in Texas. Charles graduated from Texas Tech with a B.B.A. in Finance and Baylor Law School and has practiced in West Texas for almost 20 years.
Attorney Katy Stallings
Katy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University. After graduating from Baylor Law School, Katy worked in Houston for seven years, and recently joined the esteemed firm of Ward & Myers LLP in 2020.
Katy is a fierce advocate for her clients both in and outside of the courtroom. Katy understands that just like every is family is unique, every family law case is unique as well. With that in mind, Katy is committed to providing a customized case plan to address the specifics needs of every client. Katy has extensive first-chair trial experience in divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, enforcement, adoption, modifications, and other family law cases.
In 2020 and 2021, Katy was nominated as a Rising Star in Family Law by Super Lawyers, an honor that is bestowed to only 2.5% of lawyers each year. Katy was also selected to Houstonia Magazine’s list of 2019 Top Lawyers.
