Attorney Lacey Richmond
Lacey Richmond practices exclusively family law. Lacey has experience handling divorce, child custody, child support, visitation, enforcement, modification, adoption, termination, and other family law matters. Lacey practices family law throughout the State of Texas, though she primarily practices in the counties of Brazoria, Galveston, and Harris.
Lacey was born and raised in Brazoria County. Lacey received her undergraduate degree in Legal Studies and her Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Lacey attended South Texas College of Law in Houston, where she focused on courses that would directly benefit clients in family law cases, including: Family Law, Marital Property, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Family Law Trial Advocacy, and Wills, Trusts, & Estates.
Lacey worked as a family law paralegal for four years prior to attending law school and continued working in that capacity while in law school. Immediately after receiving her law license in 2014, Lacey began practicing as a family law attorney and has practiced exclusively family law throughout her career.
Lacey is a divorcee and co-parents her daughter with her ex-spouse and his wife. This experience allows Lacey to understand and empathize with clients, as well as offer guidance for effective communication and behaviors that encourage a positive co-parenting relationship.
Lacey understands that the legal system can be frightening and frustrating to clients, and she aims to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible for clients. Lacey focuses on ensuring clients feel "heard" and that they are knowledgeable about the legal process. She explains available options to clients, and guides her clients through making decisions that are right for their families.
