Attorney Jeffrey Contreras
Mr. Contreras is a highly-experienced, conscientious and aggressive trial attorney. Mr. Contreras has over 29 years of experience, and during that time has tried literally thousands of jury and non-jury trials. Mr. Contreras is a lawyer with an “AV Preeminent” rating by Martindale Hubbell. This is the highest possible rating a lawyer can attain, and the rating is made by both judges and other lawyers.
Mr. Contreras approaches his cases from a unique perspective, with a complete understanding that each client is entrusting to Mr. Contreras what is almost certainly the most important matter in the client’s life. Mr. Contreras graduated from McAlester High School in McAlester, Oklahoma. Mr. Contreras graduated with a class ranking of 7 out of the 282 students in his class.
Mr. Contreras then graduated from East Central Oklahoma State University in Ada, Oklahoma. Mr. Contreras obtained a Bachelor of Science (with Honors) in Business Finance.
Mr. Contreras next obtained his Juris Doctor (with Distinction) from the University of Oklahoma School of Law.
While attending law school at the University of Oklahoma, ?Mr. Contreras received the honor of being invited to become a member of The Oklahoma Law Review, an invitation based on academic excellence. As a member of The Oklahoma Law Review, Mr. Contreras wrote an article which was published. Mr. Contreras' Law Review article related to the admissibility of Character Evidence in trials. Because Mr. Contreras became a published Law Review author, he was awarded the additional honor of serving as a Note Editor (who edited the writings of other members submitting papers for publication).
