After graduating with honors from Chase College of Law in 2014, Eric began representing victims who suffered catastrophic injury and loss as a result of another's negligence. Since that time, Eric has focused his practice on representing those hurt from car accidents, commercial trucking accidents, pedestrian accidents, slip and fall incidents, and wrongful death claims.

Lisa D. Hampton
Biography
Lisa Hampton moved from a rural town in Kentucky to Greater Cincinnati in 1996 to further her education. She fell in love with the area and after graduation decided to make it her permanent home. Lisa obtained a B.A. in Justice Studies from Northern Kentucky University where she graduated magna cum laude. She obtained her J.D. from Salmon P. Chase College of Law.
Before joining the firm Lisa was the Managing Partner of a personal injury firm in Covington, Kentucky. Prior to that she served as a police officer for 15 years as well as an adjunct professor at Beckfield college. During her career in law enforcement, she was elected twice to serve as President of the Campbell County Fraternal Order of Police.
Lisa is dedicated to helping clients resolve personal injury and wrongful death claims. She is committed to giving every client the one-on-one attention their case deserves.

Spencer Merk
Biography
Spencer Merk was born and raised in the Cincinnati area and began his career with a local injury firm in December of 2013. Spencer graduated Cum Laude from the University of Kentucky in 2011 with a business marketing degree.
Spencer then received his law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2014, and was placed on the Dean's list for his academic achievements. Spencer is also a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association, Northern Kentucky Bar Association, and Louisville Bar Association.
Spencer gained wide-ranging experience in the practice of criminal law while working as a Limited Licensed Intern at the Jefferson County Attorney's Office, the Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney's Office, as well as the Hamilton County Public Defender's Office. During his time at the Jefferson County Attorney's Office, Spencer was successful as lead counsel on four jury trials.

Lori Singleton
Biography
Lori graduated from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2022, making her the newest member of the Merk & Gile team. Prior to law school, Lori received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Creative Writing as well as her Master of Fine Arts Degree in Creative Writing from Eastern Kentucky University. While in law school, she acted for two years as the Faculty Research Assistant to Professor Chavez, aiding him with research in various areas of Environmental Law.
Though new to the firm as an associate, Lori worked as a law clerk for Merk & Gile for almost two years before graduating from law school. During this time, Lori was able to wholly familiarize herself with our firm and client base, and had the opportunity for additional hands-on experience by completing two externships with our firm through Chase.
Lori is proud to begin her career as an attorney at Merk & Gile and looks forward to helping the Greater Cincinnati area through her client advocacy

Eric W. Gile
Biography
Ian is a very reputable and well-trained attorney in the Greater Cincinnati Area. His litigation practice currently focuses on personal injury including car accidents, trucking accidents, dog attacks, and catastrophic injury cases. His passion is helping those who are hurt and injured while going about their every-day life, and he is dedicated to working with people who do not have access to or experience with legal assistance. Ian plays soccer and pickleball all the time, and as a Kentucky native, he is a huge University of Kentucky basketball fan. He also has become a big FC Cincinnati fan and enjoys watching the Bengals.
