Attorney Christopher L. Mewborn
Christopher L. Mewborn is a magna cum laude graduate of Campbell University where he earned a B.A. degree in Government and Pre-Law in 1988. He graduated cum laude from Campbell's Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in 1991. Following law school, Mr. Mewborn served as a law clerk for the Honorable Sidney Eagles, former Chief Judge of the North Carolina Court of Appeals. After a two year clerkship, he joined the law firm of Bailey and Dixon, LLP in Raleigh, North Carolina where his litigation practice focused on workers' compensation, personal injury, and general insurance defense.
In 1997, Mr. Mewborn returned to his hometown of Jacksonville, North Carolina and opened his own general law practice. He currently concentrates in all phases of workers' compensation litigation before the North Carolina Industrial Commission, the North Carolina General Courts of Justice, and the North Carolina Appellate Courts, as well as maintaining a busy real estate and general law practice.
Since 2000, Mr. Mewborn has also served as a mediator certified by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission. Mr. Mewborn mediates before the North Carolina Industrial Commission and the North Carolina General Courts of Justice.

Attorney Brett J. DeSelms
Brett J. DeSelms is a summa cum laude graduate of North Carolina State University where he obtained a B.A. degree in Psychology. Mr. DeSelms graduated cum laude from Campbell University's Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in 2007. While at law school Mr. DeSelms was a member of the ATLA Trial Team and competed in trial competitions around the country. He is a member of the Order of the Barristers and also served as Deputy Attorney General for the Law School's Honor Court.
In August 2007 Brett DeSelms joined Mewborn & DeSelms, Attorneys at Law where he has focused on civil and criminal litigation. Brett's practice has expanded to include the position of County Attorney for Onslow County, as well as the Public Guardian for Onslow County.

Attorney J. Timothy Wilson
Tim grew up on a farm in Scotland Neck, North Carolina. He received his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University and graduated from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in 2007. For the first 11 years of his legal career, Tim practiced at Lewis & Roberts, PLLC in Raleigh. Focusing primarily on workers' compensation law, Tim earned partnership status at Lewis & Roberts before ultimately electing to return to his Eastern North Carolina roots in 2018. At that point, Tim joined Mewborn & DeSelms, Attorneys at Law where his practice areas include workers' compensation, local government representation, civil litigation, and labor and employment disputes.
Tim has experience representing clients before the North Carolina Industrial Commission, the North Carolina Court of Appeals, the North Carolina Supreme Court, and the United States Department of Labor, as well as in North Carolina District and Superior courts and the North Carolina Office of Administrative Hearings. He is admitted to practice in both state and federal court.

Attorney Jonathan Eure
Jonathan is originally from Morganton, North Carolina. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Political Science. He then attended Campbell University's Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 2017. While at Campbell's School of Law, Jonathan served on the Honor Court as an associate justice and wrote articles for the Campbell Law Observer.
In 2018, Jonathan joined Mewborn & DeSelms, Attorneys at Law. Jonathan practices in a number of areas, primarily in real estate, both residential and commercial, estate administration and disputes, and civil litigation. Jonathan is licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
