Attorney Keith D. Silverstein
Mr. Silverstein has been the managing partner of two prior law firms, and in January 2013 he started his own firm specializing in significant personal injury, mass torts, and product liability cases. Mr. Silverstein has represented clients in high-profile matters; most recently in the World Trade Center Ground Zero cases. He actively seeks cases with difficult liability issues with catastrophic injuries utilizing his 30 years of experience, creativity, and pit bull mentality to obtain highly successful results.
Keith Silverstein has been practicing law since 1987. After earning his degree from George Washington University (B.A. 1983), he attended law school at Benjamin Cardozo School of Law (J.D. 1986). Upon graduation, Keith became general counsel to The Orelube Corporation, a New York concern involved in the manufacturing of chemical and petroleum-based products primarily for the aerospace industry. At Orelube, Keith focused his interest and work on environmental, toxic tort, and product liability issues.
After leaving Orelube to pursue a career in litigation, Keith refined his skills as a litigator by handling a variety of environmental, toxic tort, and product liability cases. He has worked extensively on asbestos, lead-based paint, gasoline spills, chemical contaminations, and hazardous waste cases. Keith has also been involved in numerous drug product and medical device cases including Ephedra, Fen-Phen, Vioxx, Celebrex, Avandia, Heparin, and Guidant defibrillators. Recently, Keith has been actively involved in the 9/11 World Trade Center rescue and recovery worker cases and assisted in the settlement of hundreds of claims.
Keith has taken numerous verdicts and negotiated multimillion-dollar settlements. He has lectured at New York Law School, various unions, and local businesses on workplace safety issues. He is admitted to New York, Connecticut, and Washington, D.C.
Keith resides in New York City with his wife Stacey, an attorney, and his sons Kyle and Harrison.
Attorney Alan Roberts
Alan Roberts represents corporations, insurance companies, and individuals in litigation and mediation involving product liability claims, labor law, toxic tort litigation, environmental law, breach of contract, fraud, and criminal law. Employee Disciplinary Litigation. Tried 30 to 40 employee disciplinary cases before 2 tribunals, the New York City Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH) and the New York City Housing Authority. Litigated a reduction in penalty for employees on 70%+ of the cases.
Breach of Contract / Fraud. A key member of plaintiff litigation team of 5 lawyers in federal litigation arising from the international distribution of regulated medical devices, styled in I-Med Pharma v. Genzyme Corp., et al. Established the document management control system to handle 200,000+ case-related and litigation documents for this highly complex case. Provided litigation support.
Attorney Michael F. Schwartz
Michael F. Schwartz, Esq. is a practicing attorney with over thirty-five years of experience. His expertise is in residential and commercial real estate, including conveyancing, leasing, mortgage foreclosure, and bank transactional work; commercial law including contracts, partnerships, and corporate law; commercial litigation related thereto; and trust and estate matters. He was formerly a member of the legislative committee of the New York Real Estate Board. He is licensed to practice before the New York State Supreme Court, the United States Federal District Courts of New York, Eastern and Southern Districts, the United States Court of Appeal for the Fourth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He is also licensed to practice in the State of Florida.
Michael F. Schwartz received his B.A. from S.U.N.Y. at Buffalo. He subsequently attended Brooklyn Law School where he received his J.D. He is presently a New York State Supreme Court Mediator and Fee Dispute Arbitrator where he mediates commercial disputes referred to him by Judges in the New York State Supreme Court, New York County, and arbitrates legal fee disputes referred to him from the New York County Lawyers’ Association.
