Attorney Jordan S. Vahdat
Jordan is a partner at Vahdat Weisman specializing in personal injury, auto accidents, slip and falls, general civil litigation, and criminal law. He successfully completed the McNair Scholar program at Eastern Michigan University and graduated Cum Laude in Political Science. In addition, Jordan received a Merit Scholarship to attend the University of Arkansas William H. Bowen School of Law. There he served as president of the Hispanic Law Students Association and served as editor of the Arkansas Journal of Social Change and Public Service.
Jordan prides himself on being an enthusiastic advocate for each client and has no qualms about taking insurers to trial. To date, Mr. Vahdat has achieved more than $ 3,000,000.00 in compensation for his clients. Mr. Vahdat was honored to be recognized as an excellent trial attorney by being nominated for the “Top 40 Under 40” award for trial attorneys specializing in civil litigation. Attorney Kara E. Weisman
Kara is a managing partner at Vahdat Weisman and specializes in civil litigation, primarily personal injury. She graduated from Indiana University in Criminal Justice & Psychology and a minor in Spanish. She also graduated Cum Laude from Thomas M. Cooley School of Law in 2015. Kara is licensed to practice law in all Michigan State Courts, as well as the United States Federal District Courts for both the Eastern Districts as from Westerners from Michigan.
While enrolled in law school, Kara was a member of the Adelphia Law Journal, secretary to the Federal Defender for the Eastern District of Michigan; She served as a court-appointed Special Advocate in Eaton County (CASA) and obtained the Michigan State Certificate of Mediation. Additionally, Kara worked as a legal intern for the Cooley Innocence Project, where she reviewed and evaluated post-conviction cases for convincing evidence of factual innocence through the use of Michigan DNA Law. More specifically, it prepared and filed a request for dismissal that resulted in the exoneration of a wrongfully convicted client.
After graduating from Law School, Kara worked for the Honorable Richard J. Garcia and R. George Economy in the Ingham County Probate Court.
Attorney Hassan N. Bazzi
Hassan is an associate at Vahdat Weisman, PLC, specializing in personal injury, civil rights, and complex litigation. Hassan has extensive experience advising clients on business matters, and drafting and negotiating business agreements. Hassan's varied experience allows him to offer great service to his clients, as he is able to anticipate the circumstances that each client may face.
Prior to joining the firm, Hassan gained a wealth of knowledge working in law firms specializing in: personal injury, medical malpractice, environmental regulations, civil rights, real estate, and complex litigation. Hassan graduated from Wayne State University School of Law, where he was awarded a full tuition scholarship, following a distinguished undergraduate period. Hassan completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in Philosophy, spent several years conducting research on human genetics in a National Institutes of Health accredited laboratory, and co-founded an international non-profit organization, which aimed to provide water sustainable drinking to underdeveloped regions of sub-Saharan Africa.
