As a law student, Mrs. Archie developed and honed her legal skills and acumen as an Assistant Editor of Wayne State University’s Law Review, member of the Moot Court, and recipient of several scholarships, including the highly coveted Damon J. Keith Scholarship for Social Equality. Because of her academic success, she was offered a number of opportunities over the years, including a position at a large, silk stocking firm, a federal externship under one of Michigan’s Eastern District judges, an assignment in the public sector, practicing Disability law for indigent clients, and finally, working in a small law office before starting her own practice.
