Founding partner, James T. Connolly (1916-1997), a native of Newburyport, returned to the city after law school to practice law with his father, who had offices in Boston and Newburyport. During World War II, he left Newburyport and served as a captain in the United States Navy. After World War II and the passing of his father, he settled in Newburyport where he continued to practice law. He was eventually joined in the practice by his eldest son, James T. Connolly, III, who is the firm’s senior partner with over thirty-five years of experience.
The professional team also includes attorneys Grace Gonzalez Connolly and a staff of experienced paralegals and legal assistants.
