Attorney Juan A. Pyfrom

Juan graduated from Florida A&M University, followed by nine years of service as a Combat Engineer on active duty in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Captain and commanding an Engineer Company during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and Meritorious Service Medal for his efforts during the first Gulf War.

After returning home, he taught high school for a year before attending law school and earning his Juris Doctor from the Stetson University College of Law. During law school, he interned at the South Florida Water Management District, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and a private law firm specializing in civil rights, as well as labor and employment law. After a short stint in the private sector, he heard the call to service once again.

He was commissioned an officer in the US Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps in 1999. As an Army JAG Officer, he served in multiple overseas assignments and represented a broad range of clients, including individual soldiers. He deployed four additional times in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn. He also represented the U.S. government in negotiations involving U.S. interests in Germany, Iraq, Kuwait, South Korea and Japan.

After retiring from active duty as a Colonel with more than 20 years of legal experience, he decided to open this firm in order to continue providing legal services to individuals and families in West Palm Beach and throughout Martin, Broward and Palm Beach counties. He is a trained mediator who puts his traits of dedication to duty, discipline, focus and commitment to the legal issues facing our clients.
