Karen Contegiacomo Ozyjowski established Law Office Of Karen C Ozyjowski, P.A., a family, criminal and civil litigation law firm, in 2006. Prior to starting the firm, Ms. Ozyjowski served as an Assistant Public Defender for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit for the State of Florida, representing indigent people charged with crimes ranging from misdemeanors to punishable by life first degree felonies.

After leaving the Public Defender’s Office in 2001, Ms. Ozyjowski went on to work as an associate attorney at the civil litigation firm of Meirose & Friscia, P.A., where she represented both individual and corporate clients in areas of practice including civil litigation, insurance defense, construction law, community association law and bankruptcy. Her extensive experience in the courtroom has made the transition into family law natural.
