Attorney Truax has lectured extensively. In May 2010 she co-presented a program for the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Rhode Island Chapter on “Direct and Cross Examination of Psychological Experts. She presented at the joint American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers/Association of Family and Conciliation Courts seminar in September 2011 on “Interviewing Children.” She has presented at the Connecticut Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial lawyers biannual seminars in 2007, 2010 and 2012. She has lectured at the Connecticut Bar Association on Business Valuations and Civil Unions. Since 1997 she has lectured on recent developments in family law for the Fairfield County Bar Association and Connecticut Bar Association annual meetings.
Connecticut Magazine as a Super Lawyer in Connecticut (Family Law, 2007-2016) and one of the top 25 Women Lawyers in Connecticut (2008-2016).
