The Pellegrino Law Firm, P.C., is a general practice firm located just outside of downtown New Haven in a beautiful yellow brick Victorian house on the corner of Whitney Avenue and Willow Street. Founded by the late Bernard Pellegrino in 1929, over 80 years later its nine attorneys enjoy an excellent reputation of providing quality legal services to clients throughout Connecticut.
It is our personal touch as we guide our clients through whatever their legal issue may be that makes us stand out from other firms. We build lasting relationships with our clients because our diverse practice allows us to provide most of the legal services our clients will ever need throughout their lifetime. Our lawyers have served three and four generations of many families providing us with the Pellegrino Law Firm's motto "Law Firm For Life."
Our attorneys have substantial experience in many areas of practice, including personal injury; real estate; land use, zoning and environmental law; civil, commercial and appellate litigation; wills, trusts and probate; business and tax law; and education and school law, as well as family law issues.
We focus on building lasting relationships with our clients. People who come in for a divorce, for example, may realize they need to update their will or sell a piece of property. We are able to take care of all of those legal needs.
Contact us today if you need legal assistance with any of the following:
- Business representation and services: From business formation or the purchase or sale of a business to contracts and transactions to the ongoing administration of a business or nonprofit organization, our attorneys will advise or represent you. We help clients resolve businesses in ownership disputes through our "corporate divorce" services and protect clients' interests in commercial litigation and arbitration.
- Divorce and family law: Including the dissolution of a marriage or domestic partnership and representation in child custody disputes, post-judgment modifications, enforcement of divorce orders, and mediation.
- Real estate: We represent clients in both commercial and residential real estate transactions and other property-related issues, from residential and commercial closings to real estate tax disputes to foreclosures and condemnation.
- Land use, zoning and environmental concerns: Including land use and development permitting as well as zoning and administrative appeals, construction law and green building concerns.
