Keith Miller, JD
Keith Miller is a Registered Patent Attorney licensed to practice law in Arizona. Mr. Miller has experience in Intellectual Property and Commercial Litigation. Mr. Miller received his JD from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Miller previously worked as a Materials and Process Engineer in the Aviation industry after receiving his BS in Aviation Engineering Technology from Purdue University.
Before founding Keith Miller Patent Law, Mr. Miller worked as an attorney at Schmeiser, Olsen & Watts, Stoneman Law Patent Group, and Ryley Carlock & Apple. Mr. Miller has further legal experience working with the Curtis Law Group and Miller, Curtis & Weisbrod. Mr. Miller is deeply involved with the Phoenix legal community. He currently serves as Treasurer for the Thurgood Marshall Inn of Court, and a member of the Maricopa Bar Association.
Before his legal career, Mr. Miller has worked as an Engineer in the aviation industry at Applied Aerodynamics, Triumph Group, Texstars, UST Mamiya, Bell Helicopter, and Composite Technology.
Amber Whigham, JD
Amber Whigham currently works in the capacity of Of Counsel for Keith Miller Patent Law. She has a BS in chemical engineering from Purdue University, received her JD from Thomas Jefferson Law School and is a member of the Texas State Bar. Ms. Whigham has close to 10 years of experience as a registered U.S. Patent and Trademark attorney. She specializes in the mechanical arts, semi-conductor processing, telecommunications, software, medical device, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and various chemicals and materials technologies.
Ms. Whigham has successfully prepared and prosecuted patents for major companies such as Boeing, Chevron, IBM, and Samsung. She has also worked closely with individual inventors seeking patent protection on their own or as part of a small business or start-up company. In addition to her extensive patent experience, Ms. Whigham assists clients in obtaining trademarks and service marks, and provides invaluable intellectual property strategy and IP portfolio management services.
