At LawInfo, we have a dedicated team of experienced writers and editors creating and reviewing legal content. All of our team members come from legal or journalism backgrounds, and they are held to the highest standards for producing accurate, ethical content.

Kit Spielberger, Digital Editorial Director

Kit Spielberger is responsible for the day-to-day operation of FindLaw.com, LawInfo.com, Abogado.com, and SuperLawyers.com. Since 2007, Kit has worked in editorial roles in journalism, legislative research, and legal content strategy. They have served as managing editor for a regional weekly newspaper, provided nonpartisan research to the Alaska State Legislature, and developed content strategies for law firm websites nationwide.

Kit holds an MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business, with a focus on strategy and leadership, and a bachelor’s degree in linguistics and cognitive science from Pomona College in Claremont, California.

Andrew Leonatti, Managing Editor

Andrew Leonatti has been writing on the law for more than a decade. Prior to that, Andrew spent the first half of his career as a Capitol Hill reporter and copy editor in Washington, D.C., covering such topics as the Affordable Care Act and Dodd-Frank financial system reform. Andrew holds degrees from Saint Louis University and the University of Illinois and is an avid traveler, home chef, and Pearl Jam obsessive.

Tim Kelly, Attorney Editor

Tim Kelly is an experienced writer, working in retail copywriting, online and print entertainment journalism, and now legal writing. His work has been published in the World Film Locations series of books and quoted in the New York Times, among other outlets. He holds a law degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, and has practiced in intellectual property and small business law.

John Devendorf, Contributing Writer

John Devendorf is a graduate of UCLA and Seton Hall University School of Law. John has been a licensed attorney for more than 10 years. After a judicial clerkship and time with a civil litigation firm in Princeton, New Jersey, John transitioned to a career as a legal content writer and editor.
