When Will My Benefits Begin And How Long Will I Receive Them?
Workers` compensation benefits will begin if you have more than 7 days of inability to work. If you miss more than 21 days of work consecutively then you are eligible to be paid for the first 7 days you were unable to work. Your benefits will be based on your pay at the time of injury and will be approximately 2/3`s of your average weekly pay. You may receive no more than $325.00 for an injury that occurred on or after July 1, 1997.
