What deductions may an employer make from an employee's final paycheck under Indiana law?

An employer can only make deductions from an employee’s final paycheck that are required under federal or Indiana law, or that fall within certain types of deductions that are specifically authorized by the employee in writing. An employer may also deduct an overpayment from an employee’s paycheck, but only after giving advance notice to the employee of the deduction.
