South Dakota area exam locations are in Rapid City, SD; Sioux Falls, SD; Fargo, ND and Bismarck, ND. A separate exam is given for each major line of insurance. A combination Life, Accident and Health or Sickness examination and a Commercial Lines (Property and Casualty) examination are also offered. These combination examinations allow you to qualify for multiple lines with a single examination. Exam reports are transmitted electronically to the Division of Insurance. Once you pass your test, you may submit an insurance license application to the Division of Insurance.
