Can I Keep My Home If I File Bankruptcy in Wyoming?

If you own less than $10,000 worth of equity in your home and if the court believes that you are likely to continue making regular monthly mortgage payments then you are likely to keep your home even if you file for bankruptcy in Wyoming.
However, if you own more than $10,000 then the court may order that the property be sold and that the proceeds in excess of the homestead exemption amount and the mortgage amount be used to satisfy your unsecured debts.
