What Public Notice Requirements are There for a Real Estate Foreclosure in Idaho?

Public notice of a foreclosure of Idaho property starts at least 120 days prior to the foreclosure sale because the lender is required to file a Notice of Sale with the county office responsible for recording land records at least 120 days prior to the scheduled sale date. The Notice of Sale must also be published in the local newspaper for at least three consecutive weeks. The last publication of the Notice of Sale must be at least 30 days prior to the sale date.
