Where and When do Foreclosure Sales Take Place in Georgia?

Georgia law sets specific time requirements for foreclosures on Georgia property. Foreclosure sales occur on the first Tuesday of the month between 10 am and 4 pm. If the first Tuesday is January 1 or July 4 then the sale will be held on Wednesday January 2 or Wednesday July 5 instead. The location of the sale is as published in each Notice of Sale.
