Can a Lender Sue a Borrower for a Deficiency Judgment if the Lender is Still Owed Money After a Foreclosure Sale in Alabama?

Yes, if a property is sold at a foreclosure sale for an amount that is less than what the borrower owes the lender then the lender may sue the borrower for a deficiency judgment in order to try to collect the money that is still owed to the lender after the foreclosure sale.
