Employers are not responsible for answering questions about the information on the notice. Refer the employee or custodial parent to the inquiry number provided on the notice. In most cases, this will be IDPA`s Income Withholding Inquiry Line, but sometimes this will be the number of another state`s child support agency, a private attorney or a custodial parent.
