What Documents and Supporting Information are Required to be Submitted with a Divorce Petition in Arkansas?

If an Arkansas divorce is uncontested then the parties do not need to submit supporting information with their divorce petition. However, if the divorce is contested then corroboration must be provided unless expressly waived by the contesting party. In all cases proof of residency and proof of separation, if applicable, must be provided to the court by oral testimony or verified affidavit. (Arkansas Statutes Section 9-12-306)
