You must complete a voter registration application in order to register to vote in the state of Virginia. You can fill out and submit a voter registration application in person at your local voter registration office, state or local government public assistance offices, government-funded offices that provide assistance to people with disabilities, armed forces recruitment offices, public libraries, the State Board of Election office, and any Department of Motor Vehicles office. A voter registration application can also be found online, and you can submit your voter registration application by mail to your local voter registration office.
