What are the requirements to be eligible to vote in Georgia state and local elections?
In order to vote under Georgia law, you must be a U.S. citizen, at least eighteen (18) years of age on Election Day, a resident of Georgia, and a resident of the county in which you want to vote. You also cannot register to vote if you are serving a sentence due to a felony conviction, or if a court has adjudged you to be mentally incompetent.
