What are the requirements to be eligible to vote in Florida state and local elections?
Under Florida law, you must be a U.S. citizen, a Florida resident, and at least eighteen years of age or older on the date of the next election. You cannot vote in Florida if you have been convicted of a felony and have not had your civil rights restored. Additionally, you must not have been declared mentally incapacitated by a court with respect to voting in Florida or any other state.
