What are the requirements to be eligible to vote in Alaska state and local elections?

In order to vote under Alaska law, you must be a U.S. citizen, at least eighteen (18) years of age, and a legal resident of Alaska. You cannot complete a voter registration form more than ninety (90) days prior to your eighteenth (18th) birthday. Additionally, you must be a resident of the state of Alaska for at least thirty (30) days before you can vote for state or local candidates or issues. You also cannot register to vote if you are a convicted felon, unless you have been unconditionally discharged from custody, including probation.
