What Is The Statute Of Limitations In Minnesota?

  1. Four­year statute of limitations ­ sales arising under Article II of the Uniform Commercial Code (ie. the sale of goods between merchants).
  2. Six­year statute of limitations ­ all other express or implied contracts whether oral or written. (ie. services)
  3. Eighteen­months ­ all claims to recovery money for transportation or services provided by a common carrier, pursuant to federal statute.
  4. Ten­year statute of limitations ­ all judgments expire after ten years unless renewed.
