Attorney Frederick D. Greco
Frederick D. Greco was born in 1937, graduated from American University Law School of Washington, D.C. in 1962, and served in the United States Navy from 1962 to 1964. He has practiced law in McLean, Virginia since 1964. Mr. Greco worked as a general law practitioner from 1964 to 1974. Since 1974, his primary practice area has been commercial and securities law litigation.
An experienced litigator, Frederick D. Greco has concentrated over the last two decades on representing plaintiffs and defendants in trial and arbitration claims against stock brokers and brokerage firms. In arbitration, Mr. Greco has argued cases before New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) arbitration panels as well as panels of the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) and FINRA. Mr. Greco also serves as a neutral arbitrator in securities arbitrations and has lectured on securities law to fellow attorneys in continuing legal education classes.
Mr. Greco is a member of the Fairfax Bar Association and the McLean Bar Association (past President and Secretary). He is admitted to practice in Virginia (1962), the United States Supreme Court (1972), Washington D.C. (1982), New York (1982), Maryland (1984) and other federal and appellate courts. He is a member of the Commercial and Federal Litigation Section of the New York Bar Association.
Attorney W. Scott Greco
Born in Fairfax County, Virginia, W. Scott Greco also concentrates in securities litigation and arbitration and is currently admitted to practice in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. He received his B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia in 1991 and his J.D. from the College of William and Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law in 1994. Mr. Greco has regularly appeared as a guest lecturer at Georgetown Law School on the topic of FINRA securities arbitrations as well as lectured fellow attorneys in continuing legal education classes. He is a member of the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association.
Working in the firm's McLean, Virginia and Charlottesville, Virginia offices, he is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, the U.S. District Court for Washington, D.C., the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the U.S. District Court for Colorado, and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fourth and Tenth Circuits and is a member of the Fairfax County, Virginia Bar Association and the McLean Bar Association.
Mr. Greco represents individual and corporate clients across the country in investor/stock broker arbitration and litigation. In addition to representing parties in NASD, FINRA, American Arbitration Association, and NYSE arbitrations, Mr. Greco is also a Member of the FINRA Dispute Resolution, Inc. Board of Arbitrators.
