Attorney Jasmit Dhaliwal

Competitive at her core, Jasmit Dhaliwal is an energetic Dallas attorney who listens and litigates based on your needs. Jasmit created her practice to focus on the two things she values most: positive client communication and outstanding results. As a legal counselor, Jasmit strives to listen to your expectations and exceed them whenever possible.

Attorney JD’s practice focuses on family, probate, and immigration law. Jasmit has represented hundreds of clients before the Dallas Immigration Court, USCIS, ICE, and the Dallas, Tarrant, and Collin County Courts at Law. She has also represented immigration clients in hearings on the merits and has jury trial experience. Attorney JD has handled hundreds of cases from start to finish. As a result, she knows how to walk you through what can be a complex, and at times, intimidating legal system. She is confident and comfortable in any courtroom proceeding.

Prior to opening her own law office, she worked several years in private practice. During law school, Attorney JD interned at Catholic Charities where she assisted victims of domestic violence to obtain relief under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). She was selected to intern for the Department of Justice at the Houston Immigration Court out of a large pool of applicants. Her past legal experience has taught Jasmit to have the utmost compassion and empathy for clients dealing with difficult experiences.
